Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Clintonville

If you’re gluten free - this is a great restaurant to visit!! Basically everything on the menu (with some exceptions) could be made gluten free, and they even offered a GF bread which was delicious. And the nice part about this also was the fact that they didn’t up charge for GF options like many other places I’ve gone to do!! It’s the little things that make the experience so much better.

Very pleasant experience, waitress was very prompt, service was good. Food was very good. We had the Sunday Supper and salmon. Both were very good. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we were seated 20minutes early. We dined on the Tuesday of Valentines week, and the dining room was full. The dining room itself was small, and rather noisy for an intimate restaurant. The only thing that was disappointing was there was no bread on the table . Considering the entrees we had did not have a bun I would have thought something would have been brought out by the waitress. The ravioli dish I would have expected some type of bread or rolls. It still was a pleasant dinner.

I love this place! I dined here alone in October after looking for a place that made fresh pasta every day. The focaccia is sublime and I could drink the olive oil.The cacio e pepe was spot on. Tonight, I returned with my aunt and uncle and it did not disappoint! Among the three of us, we were able to order most of the menu so we could each try each dish. The service is impeccable and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is friendly, cozy - along with a food and the wine what a wonderful place to spend an evening. I can’t wait to return and, hopefully, introduce more people to this lovely hidden gem. Don’t hesitate! Make a reservation 😋

My husband and I enjoyed an early Valentine's dinner last night. Once again Jeffy Ruby's was perfect! We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine and delicious food. Dave our server was excellent and attentive throughout the evening. His recommendations for dessert were spot on, I've never had the butter pie and so glad I chose it, perfection! Of course the steak and lobster were perfectly cooked and delicious, like I would expect from Jeff Ruby's high quality beef and seafood selections. We are already looking forward to dining here again and we are still talking about how great our meals were last night!

Our waitress was amazing! She was very attentive, made great suggestions, & went above & beyond for our birthday celebration. We recommend the eggplant parmesan, margherita pizza, arancini, and the Berry Blast cocktail. The birthday girl got a free dessert & a spiked strawberry with a huge “sparkler” lit up to commemorate the evening. This was our first time here & we will be back!
