Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Cedarhurst

Took my wife here for her birthday, a bit pricey but I left having eaten one of the best steaks I have had in awhile the mashed potatoes and asparagus were also amazing, they brought my wife a cake and a birthday card and a rose, I wish I had the receipt to post the waitress name she was also amazing! I would definitely go back!

First time dining. We liked the ambiance outside and inside immediately. Staff was courteous and friendly. Seating was spacious and comfortable and music was not loud but upbeat. There were specials for Valentine's Day weekend. My wife much to my pleasant surprise chose the duck tacos as her appetizer which was great because then I got to sample one as well and we both agreed that they were a keeper. Sushi was up next which was fresh with just enough flavor and "zing". We love sushi. My wife judges each establishment by her main course of branzino and half-way through announced that we would indeed be returning. I had a veal chop which came "old school" Italian flatter than a pancake, bigger than the plate, and invisible under a sea of greens. I never knew veal could be that tender. Before I knew it, my plate was empty, but not before my wife could not stop sampling the salad topping. Desert was a pleasant surprise of apple beignets. We love anything that reminds us of dining in New Orleans. With a bottle of French wine, all was savory and satisfying. I would put this Eisenhower Park oasis on your dining list. Had a GREAT time here! Came here to celebrate valentine’s day and waitress was the nicest woman, super friendly and attentive!! We started off with the complimentary fresh bread and ordered these delicious mussels in white wine with garlic for an appetizer- the portion was HUGEEE too. For dinner, we had the broccoli rabe rigatoni and lobster ravioli—both generous portions as well and full of flavor!! As a nice touch, they gave us complimentary honey drenched muffins and rice pudding since it was our first visit. Definitely recommend for amazing food and great service!

My wife went here for Valentines Day I had 8 0z Filet Mignon cooked perfect Sautéed Spinach fabulous My wife had Pork Chops at least 2 inches thick again to perfection for Dessert Very delicious Raspberry Bomb suggested by our really Pleasant waitress Amanda Excellent experience

I brought my long time friend here for a Galentine's dinner and it was perfect! We had a chance to really chat & catch up in a private but very fun space. The servers were lovely and more than happy to accomodate our "in no rush" timeline (on a Tuesday if course). It was the perfect spot for a cute dinner night out! Food was great, Italian is NOT her first choice but she loved it!
