Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Church-Wellesley

In spite of a very large crowd at the entrance for the lunch rush, the hostesses very competently saw everyone to their tables with minimal confusion. The food is consistently good and the service is professional. What I particularly like is that the servers don't come by and ask "how were the first few bites?" like they seem to do everywhere else in the city.

We were at the hightops so service was brisk - server seemed to be busy. Calamari was impossible to chew/tough and it was taken off the bill.

This is my second time at this establishment and the second time was a completely different experience. Upon entry the host didn’t ask if we needed coat made us wait to be sat because 2 of them had to go look for a bag for another guest. Then the server wasn’t giving us his best service until parties placed orders and he realized that we weren’t ordering the cheap things on the menu. The judgement was appalling. All parties were dressed up heels and dresses not sure what that was about. The food was average. The drinks were great. And the wait time for the entree was about an hour.

Such a great experience. This was my second time here and absolutely love it. You feel very comfortable, great ambience, amazing service and incredible food. Has a romantic feel about it.

A spectacular space with great food and thoughtfully crafted cocktails. The personable service of our bartender however made the experience truly memorable! Highly recommend this place for a special occasion or a casual evening of drinks and appetizers!
