Best French Restaurants in Yonge and St. Clair

My wife and I are regular patrons of Sorrel. We order six plates to share right through to dessert to maximize our culinary experience. One dish we deem a must is the lobster ravioli. We added grilled calamari and scallop ceviche as our appetizers. Our mains were two go to dishes, salmon and hangar steak. We ended the meal with duo sorbet of passion fruit and strawberry. Couple these dishes with attentive service and an hour and a half later we were smiling from ear to ear and heading home thoroughly satisfied with yet another excellent Sorrel dining experience. It was our first time at Louix Louis and we had a great time!! We were sitting at the bar and our bartenders/servers were amazing. They were welcoming, friendly and engaging. The bartender suggested the Louix Spritz with a shot of Casamigo Reposado and it was one of the best cocktails I have ever had..must try!! For our dinner, we ordered Burrata and Endive salad, Crab salad, Lobster Risotto and Filet Mignon, and King's Chocolate cake for dessert, all was superb!!! Great service, beautiful and relaxing ambience and superb food and drinks. Our overall experience was amazing!! We will definitely go back. This place is a must visit restaurant if you have not been. Love Cluny - such a beautiful space and service is always amazing (I've coincidently been there 3x in 2025 -- family brunch, dinner with friend group, valentine's day with hubby -- all experiences were top notch. Although its a large open space it doesn't seem to get loud and still feels intimate and romantic, if that's what you're looking for. Thanks to the Cluny team.

$65 for 3 course. Everything was perfectly cooked. Good service. Will definitely come back.

The one and only waiter did an absolutely amazing job. He knew the specials menu by heart was able to describe the menu dishes in detail, and provided personal attention to all the diners despite the fact there were so many people coming in. The food was the best. I had the Liver and It was done to better than perfection if that was possible. Strongly suggest getting potatoes either mashed or boiled to soak up the amazing Jus. The fries didn't quite make it and I had to use the bread which was home made and over the top.
