Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer.     Food was excellent, very reasonably priced, quick and polite service, and a really lovely setting. Rated it moderate for noise but I never struggled to hear my companion, it's just a small space so it gets boisterous! Would highly recommend for a date night or a special occasion with a small group of friends.

    My parents were celebrating their 60th anniversary on Valentine's Day and the Hawksmoor Team made it memorable. The vibe, energy and experience for me is as important as the food and the team are central to this. They were incredibly attentive, thoughtful and helpful which added so much to the experience. And of course the food was 11/10 Keep doing what you're doing Team Hawksmoor - the Dublin restaurant scene is better for it! Gavin

    Food was magnificent and our server Bianca was wonderful. She had a great personality and was very kno2ledgable when helping us with our food choices. All the staff seemed to have a great attitude and the place was full which I guess is a sign of the quality and service you will find here
