Our ingredients are meticulously hand picked to ensure the best taste possible. Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

    Very nice High Tea for special occasion. Quite pricey so would only go there for special occasion. Staff were friendly and chatty, but not very attentive. Had to ask for drinks menu twice (first person obviously forgot.) Had to walk to other side of restaurant to order second drink as no staff were in the vicinity for some time.

    A very special night highlighted by a fantastic tasting menu of the highest quality. the service was impeccable - reliable & informative. the wines selected from the drinks menu were as described to us by the drinks person. the view from our table to the river outside added to the occasion. You pay for what you get - which is sensational food from Tasmania & Bass Strait.
