Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Serra Mesa

Siamo Napoli exceeded our expectations! Giovanni (one of the owner brother) assisted with our dining choices. We had calamari appetizers, shrimp risotto with a saffron cream sauce, lobster ravioli, and osso bucco everything perfectly executed. We were served tiramisu for our friend’s wedding celebration and a lovely limoncello cake for my birthday on the house. I had Pinot Grigio a Sicilian style and our friends had super Tuscans outstanding! Run don’t walk to experience Sismo Napoli. There is some parking available otherwise street

Always a great time with the family. We celebrated our son’s birthday!! Yuki was our server and was phenomenal! Great personality, on top of our request and very pleasant. Fausto our Chef made our food with love and soooo flavorful! Thanks!

Food and drinks were amazing! The decor was lovely and the vibe was fun! Ken was our server and he was great, but the woman who took over for him while he went on break was not friendly, which was why I only left three stars for service. Additionally, two people in my party had to cancel due to illness. I tried to make a change to the reservation online, but wasn’t able to do so through the OpenTable app. I called the restaurant and kept getting a busy signal, so I was never able to alert the restaurant to the change in number of guests. When I explained that to the hostess upon arriving at the restaurant she seemed irritated at the change and told us we had to wait while she changed the table setting. The food was delicious and I loved the atmosphere, so I will definitely return, and hope of having friendlier staff and improvements in using the OpenTable app

This was my first time to Lips, the Gospel Brunch was amazing. The opening songs before the show started had definitely set the vibe to a 10 only to be increased by the performances. Each performer was great with crowd participation.

The wait staff was very polite and attentive. The food was great. We also got an awesome anniversary celebration courtesy of the chef and waiter. I highly recommend this venue for a nice quiet ambiance Italian dinner.
