- MMarciaGreater Boston •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe ate at Batfiol on Valentine's Day, 2025. Everything was perfect. The chef outdid himself in creating and executing the menu. The onion tart was delicious and interesting. The rack of lamb was perfect, served on the rare side of medium-rare, the mashed potatoes were yummy and so beautifully complimented by the sauce. After sharing one of the carrots with my husband, my generosity ended. Thank you for a lovely meal.More infoBatifolPrice: Expensive• French• Cambridge•4.5

Server was wonderful and gave great service and recommendations. Food was on point. From the crab cakes to the crème brûlée everything was just great! - RRLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGrill 23 on Valentine's Day was as spectacular as usual. We started out with the Seafood Tower, had a French Onion Soup, followed it with a Wedge Salad, and then the Rib Eye. Food was awesome as ever and the bread basket was filled with great goodies such as corn bread, raisin pumpernickel, and more. The extensive wine list provided a lot of choices and we started with a Paul Hobbs and ended with a Screaming Eagle.More infoGrill 23 & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Back Bay•4.8
- DDeborahGreater Boston •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoExcellent service and the food was great! In fact although I planned on chowder and baked lobster, after the chowder came, I couldn't eat all the lobster and took the remainder home. Now I have joyful leftover memories. Slept good as well. It was a wonderful experience!More infoLegal C Bar- Somerville, on the MysticPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Somerville•4.6
- RRonGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe have heard about Contessa for well over a year and finally got there. It was worth the wait. Ride to the 17th floor of the Newbury and enter another world - one of tastefully sumptuous ambience with superb "welcome to Contessa" service and food to die for. The view is amazing, especially from the tables for two along the windows, but make no mistake, this is not a view restaurant. A little pricey, but fair value, and the food is so delicious that we were sorry when each course came to an end. Parking is a challenge (other than an expensive valet option) but in good weather, nearby garages are less than a 10 minute walk. Give it a try! We are sorry we waited so long to get here.More infoContessa - BostonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Back Bay•4.7
