Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Westmere

The food and service were excellent. The owner is a gentleman who came out and talked to us a super fit for the whole Hunter Mountain culture. I’ll be back next week.

Delicious meals!! I had the Fillet Mignon which was cooked rare to perfection just the way I enjoy it!! Always enjoy coming to the Red Lion Inn!!

On Valentine's Day, the food and service were very good. But the wait to be seated was awful, even though we made reservations long in advance. Overbooked? It appeared so. Too bad, since the rest of the evening was fine.

The ambiance and food are always great here - not the issue. The service is book or busy, and this visit was more of a bust. The server was likely on the newer side, but was clearer not trained in the art of customer service. Lack of communication, not checking in to see if we needed anything (had to flag him down to get more drinks, nothing after our dinner was delivered), and no birthday acknowledgment even though my reservation called it out and I told him before the birthday girl arrived. Will be back, but hopefully a friendlier server.
