Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Madison South

I love le pigeon - it was one of the main reasons why I chose Portland for our family vacation

We loved it. food was well prepared, well considered, layered flavors, good textures. pastas were plush and exquisite. Service was particularly good and the Sommelier was best in class - experienced, well studied, bright and thoughtful . Beautifully paired the wines with every step of our meal. Totally recommend.

We arrived earlier than our 5:30pm reservation but were still graciously seated, and immediately told about the “Golden Hour.” Our kind and informative server was thoughtfully descriptive when telling us about particular menu items we had questions about (e.g. Sambal flight), as well as made the recommendation of ordering rice with the Grilled Banana Leaf Black Cod (which was definitely appreciated), and checked in with us throughout the meal with perfect timing. We all agreed that every dish was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the Chinese Sausage & Shrimp Siu Mai w/spicy mustard, the Zucchini & Corn Fritter, and the Dry Aged Steak Tartare. The decor of the restaurant was colorful and eclectic which created a comfortable non-pretentious vibe. We look forward to our next visit!

Each dish was creatively designed, thoughtfully executed and presented in a way that made sense from an aesthetic standpoint in addition to functionality around which would be individually plated vs family style. The space was cozy but not cramped and a portable speaker in the restroom creates a vibe for anyone using the facilities. 10/10, no notes.

Went for Machette’s winter residential stay at OK Omens. Food was delicious. Wine was wonderful. Good ambience. Friendly staff. Enjoyable place for a date night or out with friends.
