Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Hayling Island

We really enjoyed our meal the food was excellent. The only criticism we have is that I have a shellfish allergy and some of the dishes that we chose we were advised would not be suitable as they were cooked in the same pan as food that cooked shellfish. We were very surprised about that with such an upmarket restaurant. One of the courses we did chose had something that was cooked in a pan that had cooked shellfish and they just left that part of the dish off which was good. We would definitely visit the restaurant again.

Attended the evening of Thursday 13 February 2025. Nice surroundings. Taken straight to our table. Plenty of waiters. Unfortunately our waiter, while adequate, wasn’t as attentive as we noticed others were. We waited approximately 25 minutes between the starter and the main which we thought was a little excessive. An optional side was not delivered with the main and had to be re-asked for. Food was excellent, not budget but worth the overall cost. Service charge included in the bill and was not questioned, because despite the above minor negative points, was happy with the overall experience and will eat there again.

Visited the Ivy for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The shepherds pie and ginger margarita cocktail was delicious, the ambience was warm and inviting with a fabulous singer adding to the joie de vivre . Service was great and I was treated to a special birthday chocolatey profiterole. Will definitely be returning.

We had the set cause lunch menu and the choice and quality was excellent, the service was very good. Overall a pleasant experience which I would recommend

We had a wonderful family meal out at Sakura. We were early for our table and had to wait, but we were given a small table by the front door to sit and think about what we wanted to order. When our table was ready, and throughout our meal, we were attended to promptly and often by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food came out incredibly fast and it was fresh, delicious and presented nicely. It's very clear this restaurant is popular as it was full the whole time, but because of the way it's laid out, we felt like we had our own private booth and we felt nice and cosy partitioned off from other diners. We were incredibly impressed by the service we received, despite it being so busy. When we left there was a queue out the door! We will definitely be back to this wonderful place.
