Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. We had been to the Greyhound before. This time was our best experience. Nice cosy position on a very cold night. New menu that evening with really nice choices. Lovely friendly waitress. All round pleasant experience

Love this place- highly recommended - food is excellent and this is a beautiful old country inn. Will be back all the time to this place! If I had some constructive criticism it would only be that some of their dishes are slightly expensive and they could do with lowering the prices on some of the dishes. However, don’t let this put you off as we have tried various dishes on this menu and all of them are excellent.
