Exquisite tasting plates of food, locally sourced alcohol, beautiful ambience, welcoming and attentive staff. It is on the higher price side but every mouthful is worth every penny. Thank you Tom, Your Head chef and all your staff for a Very Special Evening.More infoThe Poet at MatfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Tunbridge Wells•4.8
- SSusanKent •3 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoHad a lovely afternoon tea with my mum today. It was a 90th birthday present. Lovely room with open fire in panelled lounge area. Food selection plentiful and enough for us but would of enjoyed a bigger slice of the lovely sausage roll ! Top up of tea and tastings of others allowed if required. Relaxed atmosphere, some diners conversation a little louder than others but it didn't bother us too much. Lovely Christmas decorations. Service ok but appeared to be one lady on her own. She managed ok though.More infoThe Lounges at Eastwell ManorPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Ashford•3.6

Excellent location, comfortable and welcoming environment, tables nicely spaced, well thought-out menu and specials, good cooking, portions and presentation on the plate, decent wine list at sensible prices, charming staff, not rushed although we lingered until gone 5pm, overall a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. Value for money and highly recommended.More infoThe BrasseriePrice: Expensive
