- PPeterLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA busy lunchtime with a wonderful atmosphere and great service - friendly, efficient and fun. Great choice on the nenu and specials board and great value set lunch menu. Very reasonably priced. No wonder it’s so popular.More infoNo1 Ship StreetPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Oxford•4.7
- SSimonBuckinghamshire •11 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoA wonderful time to rest, reflect and eat after a stunning visit to the museum. We had a wonderful visit to the Ashmolean, finding more and more rooms that we hadn't found before, and then had a lovely meal in the restaurant to talk and reflect on the time we had spent. The service was well paced, and the food was well prepared with portions of the right size. It really confirmed yet again that it is a good way to round up a visit.More infoAshmolean Rooftop RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Oxford•4.2
- TTraceyOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 30, 2024Beautiful setting - afternoon tea in front if an open fire. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The free chocolates for the birthday guest was a lovely touch! And there was unlimited tea. The standard scones were deliscious and the clotted cream to die for. Disappointing the jam was in jars not a dish, there was no butter and the birthday girl's gluten free scone was more like a biscuit than a scone - too thin and shattered when split. The cakes were OK but nothing special - carrot cake and chocolate brownies pretty basic, and for £85 for three I was expecting something a bit more special - maybe at least one cream cake. The gf sandwiches were too dry to eat. Overall a lovely afternoon sipping tea in front of the fire, but turned out to be not the best birthday treat for someone who's gluten free.More infoAfternoon Tea @ Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Bicester•4.6
- KKatrinelOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 27, 2024We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰More infoDinner @ The Holt HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Bicester•4.2
- JjohnOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review4.0Dined on Oct 6, 2024We had a Sunday buffet lunch at the Holt as a second wedding anniversary celebration. The staff were lovely, those around 2 years ago remembering us which was lovely. It was probably the best buffet I have had. The range of veg was excellent. Thank you Holt.More infoLunch @ The Holt HotelPrice: Moderate• British• Bicester•4
