Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Purley

Great Sunday roast with freshly prepared food. New owners are making this pub into a new favourite for us. There was also a really good live singer at just the right volume as background music and gave the place a lovely atmosphere. Good to see The Wattenden thriving and busy.

Fantastic experience. We went on valentines day which is also my husband’s birthday and as soon as we checked in with reception they wished him happy birthday which was lovely. The food was excellent, we went for the surf and turf and doughnut fondue, all the flavours were amazing. I also love that the table aren’t sandwiched together so you dont feel like you are sitting on top of other guests. The violinist was a great touch and loved that it got lively with the dj too. This was our second time, will definitely be back again.

First time here. Service was excllent, in the old fashioned traditional Italian style, which is priceless. Offered a drink as soon as I arrived and we were very well looked after, without that being overpowering. The food was very good. Wine list also very good. Atmosphere was peaceful rather than frenetic and clearly a number of local regulars there. All in all most enjoyable and I look forward to going back.

Fabulous as usual. Definitely my favourite restaurant and always great to take my guests to Trastevere.

The restaurant now has a lovely cosy feel. Great food and service, big portions so good value, last time I had the pork belly bites for starter and they were delicious, my partner said he could just eat a whole bowl of them. This time I had the fish and chips and enjoyed it. Service all round was excellent, friendly and helpful, need to try the sunday roast next. Will definitely return and would absolutely recommend
