Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Saffron Walden

Had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary. Staff 10/10 food amazing! Thank you for being wonderful!

Very good food and service in an excellent if, slightly, noisy venue. Only negative comments were that the light levels and font size made it difficult to read the menu's, although this in itself made it easier to accept the maitre D's recommendations and generated hilarity as we tried to illuminate with mobile phones. Fortunately my guests were Greeks from Crete so were perfectly used to sit side saddle on the chairs which could have been imported direct from there. They are not comfortable however rustic they may look, Maybe ok for well upholstered younger bums but a pain for us older olg gits whose glutus maximii have faded away.

Afterhours fun though could have a better vibe for a Friday night; DJ was dull. In addition bottomless drinks was abruptly ended, a courtesy notification would have been appreciated.

Good food & value for money. Happy hour - £8 spicy margaritas, can’t go wrong. Would go back

Like most people I had to have the lasagne my only criticism would be was that it wasn’t piping hot but taste was amazing.
