- MMichaelTasmania •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoVENUE: Lively, comfortable, plenty of space and a lovely view of the waterfront. FOOD: Quickly prepared, delicious, filling and dutifully presented. SERVICE: One of the staff was pretty rude to us, but the rest of the staff more than made up for it with their patient, helpful and respectful attitude. SUMMERY: I would highly recommend the Boardwalk Bistro to my friends and colleges despite some negative parts of the experience.More infoBoardwalk Bistro - Wrest PointPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Sandy Bay•4.4

The host were able to accommodate our later arrival even with full bookings. - SStellaNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024Food excellent and service attentive but not obtrusive. Servings huge so takeaway containers needed for done of our food. It wasn’t a busy early weeknight but ambience a little lacking and toilets although clean looking dated and a few finishing touches not completed. Overall a good meal.More infoThe Beach HousePrice: Expensive• Australian• Blackmans Bay•4.4
- CClaireTasmania •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 4, 2024We were a group of 4 women, 3 from Victoria here for the Melbourne Cup long weekend. We went to Frogmore for lunch the previous day which was a wonderful experience. We understood Bangor would be different. We loved our lunch, the whole experience; the staff were fantastic, the ambiance very pleasant and the food was delicious and portions very generous. We ordered mains each and 2 sides and a dessert to share. We couldn’t finish it! Our only comment was that perhaps in the combination of dishes we ordered, there were perhaps a too many elements. This was most evident in the green salad and the baked potatoes with the fish main. Thanks for a lovely experience. We’ll be back.More infoBangor Vineyard ShedPrice: Expensive• Australian• Dunalley•4.5
