Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Far Westheimer

We are from out of town, and this was our first time dining here. We were craving Italian food, and they certainly did not disappoint! The service was amazing, and the food was mind-blowing! We had the meatball appetizer, spinach tortellini, marsala trumpet, carrot ricotta side dish, and the tiramisu for dessert. Our waiter, Anson, and the rest of the crew made us feel like regulars. We will definitely return when we come back to visit!

This was our first time trying North Italia and we absolutely will be returning. The waiter did a great job with recommendations and was extremely kind. We had the calamari and shrimp scampi as appetizers and they were both amazing! Then of course we had to try the vodka pasta and squid ink SOOOO good! We will definitely be returned very soon!

A nice hidden gem. Loved the decor, the kitchen open to the restaurant and bar. Very intimate, food was great overall. The cacio peppe was my least favorite as it had no flavor at all. We ordered pasta and asked the chef to make it spicy. The first time it was so delicious, we ordered another for our table, however it was less spicy and not as great as the first time. We had to ask for more water after our pitcher was sitting empty for a while, we also had to request that our table be cleaned off after we finished the starters. The restaurant was empty so it wasn’t busy and therefore they should have been a bit more attentive. Little details make or break a restaurant in our opinion. With that being said, we’ll definitely give it another try because the food was good.
