Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Lauderdale by the Sea

Eddie was a great server with helpful recommendations when hearing it was our first time visiting this impressive restaurant. The quality of food along with the well thought out recipes made this an extraordinary dining experience. The ambience was extremely comfortable, yet upscale at the same time. Clientelle looks to be locals, which says everything. The food was so outstanding, that it is now considered to be one of our top favorite restaurants in our long list of great places to dine, in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. "Bravo, Rainbow Palace"! We will be back for more.....

First time at Mastros and what can I say? Firstly, and most importantly, the attention was excellent. Not too intrusive and just enough to attend to your needs. At times we did have to wait for a second, but I attribute that to the busy Valentine's Day rush. Secondly, the atmosphere, was lovely. For those who want you're more lively setting I would recommend the indoor/bar/lounge areas.  for quite an intimate setting, you'd want to sit outside. Speaking of outside - absolutely love the inter coastal view! Last but at least, the food! We had the Branzino, the truffle mushroom gnocchi, and spinach. Then we topped it off with the "piece de resistance," the butter cake! The plating and the flavor were incredible! I was lucky enough to score a table for the Valentine's Day and I can definitely say I'll be a repeat customer! 

Dune continues to provide an outstanding dining experience and remains my favorite high end restaurant in Ft Lauderdale. It is elegant in its contemporary design. The service is exceptional—gracious, unobtrusive, informative, friendly. The food is fitting for “foodies” yet robust enough for a broad range of tastes. Dune is wonderful for special celebrations or holidays like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day especially when they have musicians like a harpist or saxophonist and singers who add to the ambience. I highly recommend Dune.

Came for Valentine’s Evening out. First- I want to say they were very accommodating because I was able to change my 8pm reservation to 6:30pm. That being said, I’m really glad we did. We started with a complimentary glass of Blanc de Blanc Champagne (sparkling wine) that was very good & that made me happy! The appetizer was a trio of amuse bush- a couple of slices of salmon with romaine lettuce, pate’ served inside a piece of buttered bread & escargot in garlic sauce. Superb combo. Our mains were salmon- sea bass in puff pastry served with broccoli. Here’s where we had a bit of a very long wait. It was definitely worth waiting for. For dessert- there was a parfait- mousse with tiramisu!!! So delicious!!! All in all- the evening was lovely & we enjoyed everything! Definitely be back soon.

The food was excellent The service was fast. The food came out quickly. We are going back for sure.
