Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table. We do not encourage our restaurant for young children. We do not have any highchairs in house and ask that you please bring your own if it is required. We do not offer any outdoor seating.     Beautiful place, great service and very good food. Had Romaine salad, followed by Mussels, with Sundae for dessert. The Mussels were cooked in a San Marzano tomato and wine broth. Delicious. I like salty foods. but both the mussels and the focaccia served with it were just far too salty. Next time I'll specifically ask for less salt. Romaine salad was perfect, as was dessert!

    Waitress notified us of 'pasta' not up to standards for the day and suggested replacement. Kitchen swapped pesto sauce for bechamel sauce on Gnocchi (at my request). Portions were large. Everyone agreed their food was great! Seated near the back of the restaurant, which dampened the noise from the casino. All things considered, a very enjoyable experience!

    On the menu you can request the restaurant to make a random 5 course meal. They were kind and asked if I had food allergies before starting. Everything for me came out delicious and the staff did a great job explaining what was brought out to me. My server was great on checking on me and asking for feedback on the food. I had a great solo dining experience.

    Great variety and the food was very tasty, added more heat to the General Tso Chicken and it was great....Peking duck was good and well as the Moo Goo Gai Pan, Food could have been a bit more hot but overall very happy.

    Start to finish the service was phenomenal - the entire experience was wonderful. Steaks and lobster were perfectly cooked and amazing. Our sides of potatoes and asparagus were delightful. Drinks were perfect - great wine choices Our dessert (sorbet) came from a freezer that apparently is chilled to -450 degrees below zero as it was sooo hard!! It was good though (once it thawed) Definitely will go back
