The LaChona brand was born out of a love for sharing incredible wine with close friends and family. Ask any Argentinian what their favorite pastime is and they will likely say “asado con familia”, or grilling with the family. Slow-cooked lechon, fire-kissed chorizo, and hand-crafted empanadas born of generational influences and traditions are all paired with the perfect Malbec, Cabernet Franc, or Semillon every Sunday. I cannot recommend this place enough! The food was outstanding. And that includes Portland restaurants. Best meal I’ve had all year. The setting and the ambience of the restaurant is warm, cute and vintage and just perfect. Don and his wife serve the food to the table with each course and tell you what to expect. It was exceptional. You won’t regret paying a visit to Don’s.

We had and amazing time. The food was exquisite, the angelHair pasta with caviar and truffle was to die for. Every dish was so flavorful and right portions. Ended with desert that was also just amazing. Can’t wait to go back

When we travel from Seattle to Portland we always try to have a dinner at Nostrana, The food is simply prepared and perfect every time we have had dinner. They serve a wide range of people from dating couples to oldsters like us. Drinks and wine also very well chosen and well prepared. Service is attentive. Be sure to get a reservation ! Dr David Celio
