In 1688, Joseph Haviland built a tidewater gristmill that provided the locally-grown grains to a nearby bakery that supplied farmers and tradesmen with bread. It was the first public oven in New York State. Haviland’s Old Grist Mill and the public bakery were community gathering places for two centuries. Inspired by Joseph Haviland’s noble efforts, the Haviland Kitchen & Bar has been established for our neighbors.     Blown away by this little gem of a place. It’s clear that everyone who works here is happy to be here, even at the end of the night. This place has the best vibe and staff chemistry. And now to the food… OH MY GOD. Appetizers, drinks (including mocktails), entrees, and desserts were the highest quality in the whole area. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. One of the owners, DP, bartends and comes around to every table to make sure that everyone enjoyed themselves. Best Valentine’s Day ever. We will be back very soon.

    Last Night I took my Wife out to Dinner to Chadwick’s for the 1st time. We both had the Filet Mingon. The Mashed Potato’s and Veggies were delicious also. Our Waitress Tracey she was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be going back.

    The atmosphere was outstanding. Live music, Great food and Drinks. Beautifully decorated. Love the place. Also very clean which I appreciate very much. There service was outstanding. I highly recommend for a night out with friends or a romantic evening for a date. I'm definitely going back.
