Best Fun Restaurants in Effort

11.21.24 Our server was the best part of our visit to Founding Farmers! Her name was Casey D. and she just made us feel so great for being there, at the right time! There were so many people and we thought it might not be the right time but she said please don’t worry. All these people have been served, or their order has already been taken, so we are ready for you! They served us great food and really quickly and we were able to see our movie on time, and we were so grateful! We really just wanted a super green healthy large salad to split and that was the $18.50 all good green salad! Has so much in it! And then my friend wanted to have half margarita pizza and half plain tomato pie and— that’s exactly what the kitchen did! It was perfect, because we had the best of both worlds! That pizza was only 17.99 and it was a thick Sicilian style! But also crispy corners! My friend absolutely loved it! Then we had a great memory of the pan fried potato pierogies, —but it now comes with a spicy dipping sauce, that’s a little bit sweet, and very hot—but I think next time we would get it, not pan fried, but just steamed, with some butter, salt, or sour cream. We forgot to ask… but the pierogies are just 4 for $9.99… never realized that they are $2.50, per each! We got the potato ones… Such a good food memory! This pre-movie snack was just perfect, and it did not break the bank! Also, on the way out as we thanked them, we found the most delicious box of caramel cookie chocolate! Next time we should try the chocolate mints… Looking forward to coming here again! I also remember the purple and black kale salad being really good and we were thinking about it But we were full with all the food that we ate… It was perfect timing for the movie ! The food and service was beyond our expectations. The branzino with lemon couscous and steak entrees were fabulous!! The beet salad and buratta appetizer were absolutely delicious!! Kiki, our waitress, was very friendly and accommodating. The chef sent out a sample of gelato which was wonderful! We will definitely be back.

We came for a celebration dinner and the experience was top notch! From the beginning, our server, Matt was excellent in his recommendations, especially for my daughter who must eat gluten free. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the filet mignon to the fish to the pasta. Highly recommend -

Considering that Eataly opened less than a week ago, this opening has been seamless and so well run. Restaurant Management, table service, servers and the meal are fantastic. Started with Ferrari Trento Brut & two appetizers. - Burrata Con Caponata- Liuzzi Burrata, Sicilian Caponata, Basil, Olitalia Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Calamari Fritti e Zucchine - Crispy New England Squid, Fried Zucchini, Lemon, Aioli Delicious! Lunch - Ravoli di Zucca - Housemade Butternut Squash filled Ravioli, Butter, Sage, Agriform Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP w/ Black Truffle Perfect ! Finished with - Tortino al Cioccolato di Eataly - So Rich & Delectable!!! Eataly’s Iconic Chocolate Mousse with Hazelnut Bavarese and Chocolate Crunch Jay, Ruffalo & Guadalupe were lovely to have as servers. Jonathan & Roger are excellent managers and attentive. I'm looking forward to going back with more friends, try more dishes on the menu and shop in the marketplace. Eataly has done an incredible work and it's a fantastic addition to Short Hills Mall.

The food was very good! We both ordered 8 oz Cajun seasoned filets (medium & well done) they both arrived cooked as ordered, and they had us check before leaving the table, which was fabulous. The truffle fries and garlic mashed potatoes 😋😋 were so good. We had also shared a crème brûlée dessert, as it was my partners birthday they put a little candle on it for him, which I thought was super cute. Our waitress was super nice and came to check on us often. It was not super busy, so it was a pretty low noise volume. Both the restaurant & bathroom were clean. A note to mention this place is inside Kalahari resort, so your pricing expectations should be set for not only a steakhouse but one that is also located inside of a family resort as well. All in all, though, we left very happy and would dine here again.
