- MMikeNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoMade anniversary dinner reservations weeks in advance. We were promptly seated despite arriving 20 minutes early. Very extensive beverage list including some delicious Italian beers. The roasted beets and octopus salad starters were delicious. Our entrees, the candele Genovese and the Lobster pasta with substituted homemade GF fettuccine were both excellent. Service was quick and attentive despite the considerable Sunday evening dinner crowd. A Torta Caprese, espresso, and an unexpected on the house shot of Lemoncello for each of us for our special occasion was a wonderful way to end a very memorable dinner. We cannot wait to go back!More infoPalmaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Greenwich Village•4.9
- AAnthonyNew York City •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur dining experience at this charming restaurant was nothing short of delightful. The rich history of the establishment added a unique and inviting atmosphere, complemented by its cozy ambiance. The drink menu was exceptional, featuring standout options like the Paper Plane, which is a personal favorite and is listed as one of their signature cocktails. The Spicy Margarita was equally impressive, offering a perfect balance of heat and flavor. To start, the pear salad was a refreshing and flavorful choice, setting the tone for the meal. However, the true highlight of the evening was the pot pie. The crust was impeccably flaky and golden, while the filling was rich, savory, and utterly satisfying. The service was both friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. This restaurant is a gem, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable meal in a warm and historic setting.More infoFraunces TavernPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.6

- KKateNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoService was excellent and food was great. Yes it’s expensive, but the quality, taste and experience are the reason why. Best meal I have had in NYC (4 years here). I have eaten a lot of salads in my life and they served the best salad of my life.More infoBabbo RistorantePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Greenwich Village•4.4
- KKathleenNew York City •17 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe totally enjoyed our early weekday splurge at Altair. The entire staff was warm and gracious from the hostess to the bartender who dazzled us with a fun cocktail creation mixe at the table. The food was spot n from the warm, rich pumpkin brioche, to the perfectly seasoned mushroom ravioli and sea bass. At one point a very large party was being seated with tables being rearranged that was a bit chaotic, but it quickly settled down and we enjoyed the rest of our dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion and its location makes it a perfect pre-theatre dinner.More infoAltairPrice: Moderate• American• Garment District•4.6
