- BBonnievipSouthwest Florida •38 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy husband had rack of lamb and I had the halibut. We also had the shrimp dumplings and the tuna appetizers. We finished it off with the chocolate dessert. Chef did a wonderful job. Service was impeccable and we were well attended to by Chris. Also a shout out to the bartender who made a perfect martini on the rocks and old-fashioned. We haven’t been here for many years and we’re not sure why. Will be back soon. - PPeterDetroit / Eastern Michigan •11 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024The food was at the usual level of quite good but not outstanding. What was best about this visit was the service. We had a waitress who was new to the floor, although she had served in other capacities. She was most eager both to please and to learn. It was fun helping her with some of the nuances of wine service of which she had very little experience.More infoZola BistroPrice: Moderate• Contemporary French / American• Ypsilanti•4.4
- BBriceSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined on Aug 29, 2024The space can feel cramped on a busy night but it was a tad slow and made for perfect ambiance. The food is always incredible and I appreciate that the menu is updated frequently. The chef brings a really nice Vietnamese flair to the dishes. The broth with the mussels was SO good that we asked them to save it for us, which they happily did and sent some extra bread for dipping once we got home. Apparently this is a common request! Wife went with cod and I had the soft shell crab. The flavors accompanying the cod were strong enough to hold up against a red wine (Malbec, in this case) as the wife prefers reds but it can get tough to pair with lighter seafood. Server was the perfect amount of personable while giving us space to enjoy. Will make a point to come back soon!More infoTaste KitchenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Ann Arbor•4.6
