- MMarcusHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat experience! Venue is small with seating for maybe 12 people. Played good Hawaiian music and the "bar"tender and hostess were both great! Very quick service and the small venue meant it was easier to manage when getting our food. I'm pretty cheap but the quality of the food was outstanding and I was happy to spend a bit more given how great everything tasted and how quick it came out.More infoNori BarPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Kaka'ako•4.7
- SSeanHawaii •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe tried lunch menu; Combo 2 and Spicy Short Rib Soup. For combo 2 meal, you get to choose main dish (either Kalbi or Cubed steak) and choice of NaengMyun, Mul-Naengmyun (w soup) or Bibim Naengmyun (spicy sauce). We had one Kalbi and one cubed steak with Mul Naengmyun, and they all tasted great (I am a big fan of North Korean style Mul-Naengmyun)! They all come with 4 small side dishes. My wife tried Bulgogi Set lunch last time, and she said all of her friends loved it. Spicy Short Rib Soup in Korean says Yuk-gae-jang Kalbitang, but it's more of Spicy version Kalbitang (not as thick as Yuk-gae-jang). They also offered Oi-Naeng-guk (chilled cucumber soup, very appetizing with refreshing cold soup) & fresh made Kimchi before the main meal. For the quality of food and ambiance, the lunch menu, I think, offers great value. I would recommend anyone who wants authentic Korean food (with high quality) to try this place. I have to give 5 Star for Onkee!More infoONKEE Korean Grill HousePrice: Moderate• Korean• Kaka'ako•4.6
- AAlanMichaelvipHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWow, where have I been? This is a great, high quality, friendly, tasty, comfortable place to eat. The organic chicken in cast iron was one of the best chicken meals I’ve ever eaten in my life. It reminded me of the chicken at a chain restaurant in Japan called Ajitoya. The Beet salad was one of the first salads I’ve eaten that wasn’t overwhelming with one particular item. Even if you don’t like beets, there is enough of other flavors to fall in love with. It has the perfect mix of flavors that work well together. Chocolate Purse for dessert? Don’t bother sharing, get your own…lol. Only small complaint would be it’s a tad bit on the pricier side, but my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Our server was great, and you really get a sense that the entire staff that works here, works well together. Lots of smiling faces and cohesiveness from the team. I even saw the hostess walking around helping servers to fill up water. This is a top 5 restaurant in the entire Ward/ Waikiki area, don’t hesitate to go, you will enjoy it very much.More infoMerriman's HonoluluPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Honolulu•4.8
