- CClaudineVIPHawaii •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe booked a last minute Valentine’s dinner so got a 4:30 reservation. It was early so not very crowded and at that time there wasn’t much noise, which was great. The food was delish!! Roasted octopus was tender and very tasty. The French onion soup was delicious, a classic representation and the toasted croutons still retained some butteriness. I had their Valentines special Beef Wellington…. What a treat! The pastry puff was crispy and flakey, the meat amazingly tender with a mushroom topping. My husband had the kampachi and was very impressed. We ended with the trio of tartlets which was just a perfect tart and sweet ending. The service was excellent … attentive, but discreet. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will be back!More infoUpstairs at Pier 38Price: Expensive• Steak• Kalihi-Palama•4.6

- NNancySeattle / Eastern Washington •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a dream to have a lovely fine dining experience. The food, presentation and service was exceptional. I was impressed with the rhythm of each dish delivery to the table, no rush just the right amount of time between plates. Our server was extremely affable, as were the many others who brought dishes to the table. Never intrusive. The plating and combination of flavors were thoughtful and delicious creations. Considering that the treatment was Michelin level, the reasonable price point for our experience was a bargain.More infoSeniaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Honolulu•4.8
- KKathyNew York City •46 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFood was excellent, loved the raw and grilled oysters. The grilled were wonderful, spicy and Decadent with nori butter. Clam Portuguese dish was nice to share and paired very well with the Rioja that we ordered. My husband got the black squid ink risotto with calamari. This dish was perfect, better than anything we have had in Venice, Italy. I ordered the scallops and as much as they were excellent. I spent a lot of money for two scallops, when I was expecting three. However, the waiter comped dessert. The brownie was yummy! Most important the service wasn’t rush and when I booked we were at the counter, but I asked if we could be moved to a table. Wish was granted and we had a delightful meal.More infoThe Pig and the LadyPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Downtown•4.8
