Best Casual Restaurants in Silver Lake

We sat outside on the lower (uncovered) deck (it was cold, but they had heaters going for us.) The food was prompt, service was excellent. My husband got the salmon and said it tasted a little fishy which he had never had in salmon before, but he ate it all (yes we know he ordered fish, but salmon doesn't typically have that taste). He also had a Caesar salad, which he said was one of the best he has had in a while. I had the filet mignon, and it was cooked perfectly to my temp preference. I also had a side of mac-n-cheese, which I didn't care for much, but that is just a personal taste preference. Overall, we had a nice time. Next time we will make reservations for Valentines a little earlier so we can sit inside!! Haha.

Wonderful street tacos. The house margarita with jalapeño infused tequila was amazing. The hot salsa is delicious and hot albeit the fire is overly long lasting. Yowza! The salsa verde and house made quac was delish! The service was consistently on point throughout our entire visit, not too much and not too little. Our waiter had the perfect attentivness. The parking is a little unusual, you actually park on a pier over the water. We enjoyed ourselves with great food and professional service. The only minor critique I would have is the music was one notch above the perfect volume and some of the halogen spot lights were on the bright side of comfortable when seated at our table. Some light adjustments or dimmer would improve the ambiance to perfection however, it appeared to vary by table. We got a bright lit one due to some misaligned art work spot lights. We will definitely visit again and again. This is a very special must visit destination on the Wilmington River Walk.

We've been coming here for 3 years now and always choose this location for any sort of big occasion. In this case, we chose Valentines Day! Food phenomenal. Drinks are always great. I went to park the car while my wife got to our reservation. Came inside to see her, saying she slipped and fell in front of the hostess. Told me the hostess acted like it was no big deal and then was offered a complimentary drink. I felt no need to escalate as it was a busy night and we always enjoy the food. Would look forward to seeing a bit more genuine concern for a slip and fall incident when the floor was wet from something. The drink just seemed like a way to defuse the situation and doesn't help that my wife isn't any bit confrontational.

We really enjoyed our first visit to this wonderful place and it won’t be our last! Mike, our server, was friendly and quite informed of the menu and checked on us often. We especially loved the ambiance with the fire log TV and good music.

We were greeted warmly, Flower waited on us very attentively and we were never waiting on her. The cauliflower soufflé was awesome. The filet I had and the burger my wife had were both great. Very delicious and well presented. We also enjoyed the wedge salads. Thanks for a great experience !!!
