With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring. Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are two dining spaces at Cotswold House, as well as an option to have lunch or dinner at our sister property The Noel Arms directly opposite.The juxtaposition of our relaxed Cocktail Bar area and sophisticated Hidcote Brasserie & Grill restaurant creates a two-concept dining experience. Linked together, these spaces offer the best of both worlds. The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers an informal dining experience, this is where the bar is located so expect a livelier vibe, cocktail shakers, the gurgling espresso machine and locals coming and going. Dogs are welcome too. Hidcote Brasserie & Grill is a little more sedentary, romantic even, and is located in a beautiful high ceilinged Regency room. The same menu is served in both spaces for dinner.The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers a wide range of wines by the glass, as well as an enviable Gin selection. A cocktail list is also on offer, with a choice of classics or something new to try.

    The food was excellent, good quality, well above average for the price. Our only concern was my wife is highly allergic to peas. We informed the team, yet there were 5 peas in the vegetables. They clearly had tried to remove them but were not thorough. We'll definitely go back, but know we need to be watchful.

    Would really recommend Salford Hall for a lovely, great value Sunday lunch with attentive, kind staff, in a beautiful setting. We were also pleasantly surprised that living locally got us 15% off the bill :) the team made an extra effort to make my sister in law’s birthday special too which was really appreciated. Faultless all round - will definitely be returning.

    The bistro is a nice venue - service was good and food was tasty. Strangely towards the end of our meal, all members of staff had left so there was no-one present in the restaurant. We had to go to the kitchen to ask for someone to take a tea order. Good option in Chipping Campden.
