Such a gorgeous old pub. So warm and welcoming with the most delicious food and a lovely menu especially as we went on a Sunday.. Sunday menus can be a tad boring but not this one.. They were all so lovely too being my brothers birthday they had ballon’s on the table and he had truffles on the house after the meal… can’t wait to go back and try the evening menu

Absolutely awesome experience. On a horrible wet and windy evening we received a warm welcome. Spoilt for choice on the menu and specials board and all at very good prices. Means we have to visit again to try something different. Can recommend the scallops, mussels, and skate wing this time.

We travelled from mid-Somerset once again to enjoy one of our favourite places and lunch venue. The food was as good as ever, delicious fish soup and fish pie. Our only disappointment was that, while the staff were as efficient as always, there was no warmth or smiles when we arrived or when we were served. Feeling welcome is an essential element when we dicide whther to come back again.

This was our third visit and it will not be our last. Food was very tasty and there was a good choice available on the menu. They have recently refurbished too, and this was done really well. Will look forward to our next visit when we are in the area again.

Visited a number of times and always found it a pleasant experience. Today it was crowded, so a little noisy, but you can’t blame the restaurant for that. All-in-all, highly recommended.
