Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old brothel, we take the best meat in the country from the award winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     REALLY ENJOYED everything about Bistro Freddie. Nice greeting on arrival Beautiful setup inside the restaurant - White table cloths always a good sign. Great server who was very mindful of myself and partner… and didn’t rush us or push us into extras Wine not insanely expensive. Food - BEAUTIFUL. Bill - Well I didn’t begrudge it at all - so that’s good Overal. A splendid Monday evening.

    We ate here on a busy Thursday night, yet the service and quality of food were excellent. The crab maison was delicious as was the beef cheek bourguignon. My wife’s mushroom cassoulet was a revelation - she really thought that the spicy glazed fable mushrooms were sausages. Our amazing server Evelyn explained all about them - she really knew the menu and she was attentive to everything we needed. An excellent evening.

    This is the best Gin bar in London. The staff is extremely friendly and dedicated. The atmosphere is very nice and warm. The gin it self is top quality. After all the restaurants we have been to during our visit to the city, this is clearly the best. (Even better than fancy restaurants like Sky Garden) I will definitely go back here next time I visit London.
