Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     Food was great, but the staff made the experience 1000% better. I interacted with multiple waiters and all of them were so kind and attentive. I went there for my birthday alone and they were so amazing. I had a birthday card waiting for me when I got there, got a complimentary drink and they put a candle on my dessert. I didn't feel lonely at my dinner and I was also sitting at the counter so it was interesting looking into the kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't been before.

    The place is very special, couldn't find a single definition to describe it. It's actually pretty much everything - a bar, a restaurant, a club even. Nice location, great interior, live music. Gatsby party vibe!

    I booked a table for 5 and I can honestly say that the review cateogaries have all been afforded a 5 out of 5! First and formost this restaurant provides Authentic Greek cuisine at the highest level. The staff were all extremely amicable and provided assistance with our order throughout including their selection of cocktails! BTW MAI TAI is a fantastic beverage :). I am already planning to dine there sometime in the New Year and would definately recommend you paying them a visit, especially if Greek cuisine is your tipple. Regards Simmo
