We are a family run pub located in the village of Woodlesford just 6 miles south-east of Leeds city centre and is a stop off and refreshment point on the central section of the trans Pennine trail. Welcoming walkers and locals alike. We are also dog friendly. Newley refurbished the pub still retains its charm and character and the first thing you will notice when you arrive is a warm and family friendly atmosphere and our staff are only to happy to serve you. We serve food throughout the day in our dining area, there is also a sports bar and a function room with a large screen. Outside there is a heated covered dining area.

My daughter has had the best afternoon celebrating her 16th birthday with her friends. Justine and the team have really looked after them and made sure they had the best experience. Evie felt so special. The food was delicious and they weren’t rushed at all. A wonderful birthday celebration for her - thank you guys!!!

Another great experience ! Booked a table for 5pm and expected it to be empty but it was full and lively with a great atmosphere. This is why the booth seating is a real winner in my view, not only for the comfort but it allows for cosy conversations without the need to shout across the table. Food & service were excellent. My only slight disappointment is I find the menu a bit limited as it’s predominantly a steak restaurant . I would recommend checking out the menu choices on their website before making a booking. But overall another great night. Well done and thank you to the team 👍
