Lovely table. Fish soup and kidneys very nice - fish soup could have been a little thinner and kidneys a little more tender. Main course Sole and lamb both very nice. Lamb dish served a bit cold but quickly resolved with a salamander heat up. An unexpected glass of wine given with No1’s apologies. Appreciated. Fabulous crème brûlée! Lovely ambience and service. First time I have been to the White Hart in many years, and I had forgotten just how special this place is. The building of course is totally unique in historical terms, and is beautifully presented, even in these mad health and safety days. The ambience is pure magic - warm and welcoming, non-intrusive but carefully chosen background music. Staff were all incredibly welcoming and once we were eating, didn't keep coming to ask "how is everything?" which really annoys me in some places. Food was 5* excellent - I am vegetarian and could not fault my Main. Two teenage kids had steak and they were very happy with theirs, which is quite unusual (either over or under done, but not here). My wife had the house G&T, and I had the house breads, both of which were amazing. Main complaint - no room for dessert! Keep it up, and we'll be back very soon!

Excellent food on the imaginative Valentine's Day sharing menu, two different dishes for the couple to share. Very tasty and beautifully presented food. Our first time at Kin but will definitely go again.
