We were visiting Galveston for the first time and of course eating at Gaido's was a first. He waa knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant, humorous and gave his honest opinion about some of the dinner choices we made. We would definitely return. The food was amazing I had the seafood pasta and the portion was very filling and the key lime cheesecake was magnificent!! The mojito, margarita and voodoo were all liquericious!!! The staff from the time we walked in until the time we left were attentive. We were seated quickly and the wait staff was there immediately. Kristin was our waitress she is incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and the specials. Gave us recommendations based on her own experience that’s so important, so many restaurants have wait staff that has never tasted the food. THE FOOD!!!
