Best Romantic Restaurants in South Street

Simply Amazing, we came to celebrate a huge milestone our 10 year anniversary! Service was great, every worker we passed greeted us & thanked us for dining it was such a nice touch. The food was amazing, oysters & shrimp Vince 10/10!! I don’t have a single complaint about the food everything was outstanding. We also got complimentary key lime pie & cookies for dessert to top off the night. Only one small critique is the music playlist is a little odd for the environment & ambiance, playing old pop hits instead of soft jazz or classical just an interesting choice. Everything else was amazing from start to finish!

Great food and music. Service was a tad slow for a Wednesday night with empty tables around us, but that wouldn't deter me from returning. Fried lobster, crab tater tots, and gumbo were delicious. I highly recommend those. Brussel sprouts were very good. Beet salad was okay. I ended up taking that home and adding some goat cheese crumbles to it. The beet salad needed something more for me to thoroughly enjoy it, but the beets themselves were very good. The cheese I added at home gave it the pop I needed. The key lime parfait was also okay. It was more like a key lime pudding overall, despite the graham cracker crust underneath, which had great flavor. I think of a parfait with more evenly distributed layers, but it was a huge amount of key lime pudding, a thin layer of graham cracker crust on the bottom and a nice dolop of whipped cream on top. It was okay, but just not my idea of a traditional parfait. Hopefully the service next time is a little quicker, but I will definitely return.

Delicious Sunday lunch. This quaint out of the way BYOB is a real gem.
