- CCSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI am totally biased as I may have been to Sundance over 500 times over the last 20 years, but this is the most consistent restaurant at which I have ever dined. The staff is incredible, the food is very good and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The level of care they have for their customers is really unparalleled! I am a big fan and hope all will enjoy Sundance too.More infoSundance The SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Palo Alto•4.8

- TTomSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe enjoyed dinner (4 of us) for my wife's birthday on a Saturday night. Everything was exceptional. Our waiter, Rene, was new and we were very impressed with him. His suggestions on menu items were spot on and he checked on us regularly without being overbearing . We were all very pleased with our dinners (swordfish, miso salmon, chicken piccata, sea bass). The sea bass came with melted butter on a sizzling cast iron dish that kept the fish hot down to the last morsel - delicious. Market Broiler has always been a favorite place but this visit was exceptional. We will return and hope Rene is again our waiter.More infoMarket Broiler- FremontPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Newark•4.3
- SSeanSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoLet’s start with the important part: the food is so good, you’ll wonder why you eat anything else. Seriously everything is amazing It was a hit noisier than I like in a steakhouse. Also, after a few glasses of wine, *I* was a little louder than I like in a steakhouse. We can call that one a wash because I was a big part of the problem. Let’s look at their tipping requirements. We had only a party of five and they included a mandatory gratuity. I don’t like this policy, and if it didn’t exist, I would tip higher than their policy. Unfortunately I’m a stubborn guy, and I don’t tip on top of a mandatory gratuity, so the servers and tipped-out staff lose. I can understand for a party of eight, but I think that a party of five should not be required to do anything.More infoForbes Mill Steakhouse - DanvillePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Danville•4.7
- CCodySan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024Arriving on time for our reservation, we were promptly seated. When we opened the menu, they had a three-course prix fixe menu with my roommate's name printed on nice paper (a special touch). We ordered: - 5 oz A5 Maesawa Wagyu Ribeye (5 stars) - 8 oz Filet Mignon - 16 oz Ribeye - Sauce Trio: Cabernet Demi-glace, Cognac Peppercorn, and Chimichurri - Bread - Brussels Sprouts - Orange Dreamcicle (tastes like one) - Jalisco Listo - Butterscotch Crème Brûlée The service was excellent, and the ambiance was great; the music had a beat that blended in well with the rest of the environment. The patrons were all 'business casual' or better. The food was cooked and prepared correctly. At one point in the evening, I was content and relaxed and didn't have my usual daily worries bothering me -- it was a nice change. We spent about two hours to get everything, and the restaurant was more full as the night went on (we were there 6p-8p). I recommend this restaurant for your friends, family, or colleagues to enjoy a nice meal and dining experience.More infoForbes Mill Steakhouse - Los GatosPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Los Gatos•4.7
