Best Sushi Restaurants in Hawthorne / Gardena

The chef Alex was great at Preparing each guests selection. Just the right amount accompaniment of vegetables and seasonings especially the garlic butter. The meat was vey very tender and delicious 🤤 Thank you Alex you really delivered, as always.

Truly authentic and quality Yakitori and Izakaya small plates plus my fav beer, Asahi Super Dry on tap!! The perfectly sized skewers are expertly prepped and grilled…….Hamachi Kama, yellowtail cheek, is another delightful Hasu special that pairs well with sake. You can’t go wrong with Hasu, it’s even better than what I’ve experienced in Japan!’

I have not been back to Hachi in a while due to my schedule, but it was a delight to return and to enjoy the feeling of being in a izakaya again. The food remains at its usual excellent level, although I regret that they have stopped offering the onigiri (grilled rice balls) that were a favorite here in the past. Service is attentive and helpful. It is a little noisy, so perhaps the music could be turned down, especially when the room is full and normal conversational tones have to rise to be heard above the background. Been wanting to try Happa Restaurant for a while now since they opened at the Gardena Hotel, and they did not disappoint. All the dishes come out hot and delicious, and the service was outstanding. We will be back soon!

Can’t ask for a better deal and healthy option than Shinsengumi Shabu!!! I mean most ingredients for the hot pot are fresh, high quality……not processed!! And the price for AYCE is too good , even better for seniors like me!!! I sit at the counter and always order the Tonkotsu broth with both pork meats and an ice cold jumbo mug of Sapporo……man, life is good!! But whatever you order, you always walk out with a truly satisfying feeling. And icing on the cake is outstanding, friendly service by Riley, Kenda and Yonosuke!!! Of all the Shinsengumi restaurants through out the Southland, this joint is my absolute favorite and I highly recommend for family, friends and even hot dates!!
