- JJeniceAlabama •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur appetizer dinners were delicious. Our server, Carlos, was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. The staff even called to offer us a table that became available, which was more comfortable than the bar. We took the opening at the bar, but asked for a change if a table became available. Bistro V is consistently good.More infoBistro VPrice: Moderate• American• Birmingham•4.8
- MMikeAlabama •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoThe music was very good and entertaining and not too loud. The place was very clean and appealing to the eye and the staff were very very friendly. My wife ordered the crab cakes app as her meal. They were really good and she enjoyed them. I ordered the Ribeye steak with potatoes and grilled brussels sprouts. The steak had good flavor but was very tough. For the price I would have hoped for a better cut/quality of meat. The brussels were really good, and the potatoes serviceable. All in all it was enjoyable but I will probably try many other new places before I would go back.More infoThe FennecPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Birmingham•4.2
- HHowardVIPNew York City •31 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy first time to go to Daniel George and I was happily surprised. It was a late lunch on Valentines Day and I fully expected to pay a premium price for a meal, but the price was standard and very reasonable. The food was excellent particularly the fried oysters. The service was attentive and polite. The restaurant and bar are very attractive. I will be back!More infoDaniel George Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Birmingham•4.8
- JJackieDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had the best experience. Drove in from Dallas and got to the restaurant pretty late, but they accommodated a full dinner for us considering we were 20 minutes to closing. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! I would highly recommend the fillet to anyone!!! Absolutely love the hotel, but the restaurant took it to another notch More infoIronwood Kitchen & CocktailsPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Birmingham•4.4
- LLandJAlabama •32 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 26, 2025my wife and I were at Pursell Farms to celebrate her birthday. we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Arrington. it has a stately, yet comfortable feel and the food was fantastic. for appetizer I had butternut squash ravioli and my wife a pear and mozarella salad, and for entree I had the pan-seared halibut and my wife had steamed mussels. everythig was well-prepared and delicious. we do want to show our appreciation to all the staff at Arrington. Diane, Darlene (I think) and Marlee #2 were welcoming, cordial and engaging, and they provided excellent service. and of course, our compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff! thanks to all at Arrington for the great service and food!More infoArringtonPrice: Expensive• Southern• Birmingham•4.3
