- MMackenzieSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoGriffin was so helpful and recommended wine pairings and courses for us to try. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and answered all our questions. He wrote us a personal note congratulating us on our anniversary and engagement and really made the whole night very special. The food was very tasty and well worth the price. We both left stuffed and happy! Thanks for ringing in this new chapter with us.More infoIron GatePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Dupont Circle•4.7

The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for a night out. Our waiter, Andrew, was excellent—very helpful throughout the dinner, offering great recommendations from cocktails to dessert. We revisited some of our favorites, and they did not disappoint. The hummus is amazing (pro tip: order an extra piece of pita bread). The potato dish and pork shoulder were equally delicious, packed with great flavors. For dessert, we tried the pear tart, which had more of an apple pie texture than a traditional tart, but it was still enjoyable. I also had an Old Fashioned, which was well-made and a great way to round out the meal. Overall, a great experience once again. Highly recommend this spot for excellent food, drinks, and service!More infoGypsy Kitchen - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Logan Circle•4.5
- EElizaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoOur experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The waitress provided exceptional service, making our meal even more enjoyable. The food was good, and the ambiance offered a perfect, relaxed atmosphere for dining. The only downside was when the bill arrived, a 20% service charge was added, which led me to believe the tip was already included. However, there was a note on the credit card receipt clarifying that the 20% charge wasn’t the tip, which was a bit confusing. It essentially meant we were expected to add an extra 20%, totaling 40% in additional charges on top of the menu prices. Despite this confusion, we had a great time.More infoAlaraPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Georgetown•3.8
