Considering the new owner just took over the restaurant which was a neighborhood gem, they managed everything very well.

This our second dinner since the change of owners. There is a new chef and several new staff. The service is excellent and the menu selection is wide ranging. We have been coming here for several years and hope to continue. While some of the dinners were fine, I did find the shrimp parmigiana was a bit under cooked and the veal was a bit tough. The fish francese was good and tasty. Time will tell. Ernie was present at both dinners and was friendly.

Thank you for dining with us and for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the service and our new menu selection. It’s wonderful to know that Ernie’s warm hospitality added to your experience. We truly value loyal patrons like yourself who have been with us through the changes. While we're delighted that some dishes, like the fish francese, met your expectations, we’re sorry to hear that the shrimp parmigiana and veal didn’t quite hit the mark.Your input is invaluable, and we’ll share it with our chef to ensure these items are perfected. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to grow and improve—we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Food was good. Ambience was peaceful since the restaurant was half empty. It was a Wednesday eve. Service was good.

"Warning" new ownership oddly enough they don't let you know that but you realize real quickly after a few minutes of being there. I come back-and-forth from New York and New Jersey having a house near by. I would say we've been there approximately two dozen times over the years always a treat, always something to look forward to "UNTIL NOW" I can only compare it to pizzeria food, but bad pizzeria food, night, and day difference!!! the only thing that was the same was the pricing. there was three of us and nobody could get through more than two or three bites. We should've realized when the bread came from Publix burnt, three skimpy pieces. The new owner took offense when he asked us how everything was and we told him. He offered no apology. There was no compensation he just offered the check. We were in know means aggressive about our disappointment and that's how we explained it They were smart to keep the name, but people who do know the place will only go once and like us never return. the attitude was just as bad as the food he had our money and that seemed to satisfy him . what a shame. I feel like I've been cheated. if I could give less than one, I would just a rude unfortunate situation so disappointing

At our restaurant, we’re committed to fairness for all our guests, which is why we don’t offer half orders or substitute our tomato sauce with the homemade Bolognese sauce you requested as an addition to your meal. Our Bolognese sauce is made from a blend of veal, beef, and pork. We also encourage guests to take a moment to review our current menu offerings, as we do not serve pizza. We take great pride in curating a menu that reflects our dedication to high-quality cuisine and exceptional service. We truly value every guest’s experience and strive to offer both excellent quality and great value in every dish we serve. Thank you for understanding our approach to fairness for all patrons.

We were regulars for a long time. The old owner Roberto told us in June that he was closing for 3 months July, August and September. That was extended to October and finally reopened on November 1. We dined there on November 2. What a disappointment! New owners. The menu changed and the prices were ridiculous. $70 for lamb chops when the best steak houses don't charge that much. The caprese salad was a joke. One slice of tomato with a lump of cheese on top for $20! For $18 in other top Boca restaurants you get 3 pieces for $18 and the Piccolino presentation was awful. I will try to post a photo with this review but I don't know if I can. One of us ordered Salmon with double broccoli instead of potato. It came out with a single order of broccoli and potato. When we told the lady that it was incorrect she said she knows. She said she wrote it down but the kitchen made a mistake. She never offered to take it back. To add insult to injury it was ice cold! The salmon was undercooked and tasteless. They no longer serve iced tea. Instead they sell bottles of some horrible brand. I never ate at a restaurant that didn't have brewed iced tea. Obviously the new owners figured out that they could sell bottles so they don't have to give free refills. I am so disappointed but will never return. I waited to post this review in case it was a bad night and I was wrong but I just read a review from someone last week also with a 1 star review.

Your comments reflect a pattern of dissatisfaction by a few over the sale of the restaurant. Most guests have embraced and appreciate the fresh approach we bring, as evidenced by repeat reservations. There are some points that need clarification to ensure an accurate representation of our restaurant on our second night of operation. Iced Tea: Yes, we do not offer free iced tea, we serve premium bottled iced tea, selected for its quality. We do not serve lamb chops; We serve Rack of lamb, a premium and distinct dish. Since you did not even order it, your comments are based on incorrect assumptions rather than actual experience. Caprese Salad: Ours is made with fresh, daily mozzarella, we prioritize quality. Our menu changes reflect our commitment to offering high quality cuisine.

Piccolino Italian Restaurant provided stellar food, wine, and service recently to our group of two couples. Our friends liked their salmon prepared with mushrooms, side of steamed spinach, veal francaise, side of spaghetti in marinara sauce. My husband and I also enjoyed eggplant rollatine appetizer. We both ordered our favorite, sole francaise served with sides of sauteed spinach. Rob ordered pinot noir, while my husband and I both ordered cabernet sauvignon. We highly recommend Piccolino Italian Restaurant.

Intimate atmosphere reminiscent of a small neighborhood Italian restaurant in Italy. Roberto oversees every aspect of the dining experience. Every dish we have tried has been 100% perfect. We have become regulars and dine here every Saturday night. The restaurant will be closed all of July, August and September so rush in now and you will become hooked!
