   Incredible restaurant I cannot recommend enough. Food and service were impeccable. I wish I lived in Atlanta so I could come here every week.

   We went to Poor Calvin’s and I was very excited because I love Asian food and I had heard some good things. When we arrived we were sat in the very back of an empty restaurant next to another couple about a half a foot away. Our waiter was very nice, if like to clarify that! When we ordered drinks we were told they were still making the ginger for the ginger beer so my husband ordered something else. At the time there was only one other couple to the right of us so he come and sat next to me so we could share more easily. Eventually another table came and were seated next to us. We were not extremely crowded and I will say the restaurant minus the bar was empty. Our waiter came to inform us the manager wanted us to sit across from each other like we were. We asked ti be seated somewhere else because it did seems very cramped. We were told no, so we asked for our check to leave. We had 2 of our three items we ordered which were fine, definitely not worth the whole experience of feeling talked down to. There are so many great restaurants in Atlanta, I’d skip Poor Calvin’s. Maybe the manager and owner shouldn’t ask a waiter to do there dirty work. Don’t bother with this place.

    Our first time , celebrating anniversary. Arrived little before 6:30. Was asked to wait to be seated . Very beautiful on inside . Server Justin was fantastic!! Great recommendations, serious 10/10 for Justin ! Very soon the entire restaurant was so packed with loud people it became less of a vibe than before . My food was amazing . Got up to find restroom , a large group of people including big men Were blocking ne from it , again my first your in this restaurant I didn’t even know where the restrooms were. He told me to get in line behind him ?? Felt extremely intimidated left with using facilities. We had just spent close to 300$ for dinner and I felt very much intimidated by a patron keeping me from the bathroom . Truly out a HUGE damper on my experience. Then we had to walk a few blocks to our car at night in sketchy area .
