We know the word "fusion" has been wielded about to justify everything from Hula Burgers to Mexican lasagna. But the East-meets-South brand of fusion happening at Poor Calvin's? It's creative; it's innovative; and it's probably unlike anything you've tasted in the ATL. After working in kitchens around the world, Calvin Phan wanted to shake things up a little. And so, into the mac 'n cheese, the Thai spices went. Now, Calvin's giving Southern staples, like sea bass and fried chicken, a decidedly creative Asian-inspired twist (and a nip of spice, too). He has created innovative dishes, approached in much the same way, leave the hands of Calvin Phan day in and day out. His dedication and attention to detail are evident in each dish and dessert. You won't be disappointed.

We always come here for our anniversary, and it's always a great experience. I recommend the Lobster fried rice, best one in Atlanta. Drinks and ambiance are great also.

Both the service and food were excellent. I would recommend PC for anyone looking for an Asian infused jewel of creative dishes served by a knowledgeable wait staff. Definitely a go to place for us.

Poor Calvin’s is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. Every dish I have experienced there has been exquisite and the service is impeccable.

“HIDDEN GEM” is perfect because how have I missed this delicious restaurant with a vibe so perfect! I’ve only been 2x now and just as the very well informed staff assured me, the food never misses. Walking in to the fragrance of the kitchen alone is euphoric. Love this place, happy I found you all 💗

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience. The food , service and ambience was great. Even saw Calvin serving food. The prices are a bit high but the food was great.
