   We recently visited this local gem and were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The ambiance was welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly, making for an enjoyable evening. It truly felt like a great local discovery. That said, there were a couple of hiccups in the meal. The steak, while flavorful, was not cooked consistently throughout, leaving some uneven spots where it was medium then very well in others. Additionally, the dessert—particularly the cake—fell a bit short of expectations, lacking the flavor profile we had hoped for—bourbon. Despite these issues, the quality of service and charm of the place have left a positive impression. We’re looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu. With a bit more consistency in the kitchen, this spot has the potential to be a favorite as the drinks and the rest of the meal was superb.

   Extremely Disappointing Experience I made a reservation for Mother’s Day over a month in advance, only to be told we’d be seated at a bar top. After a frustrating back-and-forth with the hostess/server (Sasha) and the owner (Seth), it was clear that problem-solving and customer care were not priorities. If you're going to include a mandatory 20% service charge, the level of service should reflect that—exceptional, thoughtful, and responsive. Exceptional service means anticipating customer needs and creating memorable experiences, especially on a day as meaningful as Mother’s Day. Dining out is something I value deeply, and this experience felt like a complete letdown. I left wishing I hadn’t paid a cent. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

   We were seated right by the door ,which was initially a huge negative. Throughout our meal the hostess kept the people moving. We did not end up feeling that the table was in any way a detriment. It was a bit noisy but with the open layout don't think it could be improved. Was a perfect dinner out.

   Food was good, calamari was the one so so item. Heavy garlic and chewy since it wasn’t fried. Limited menu and change of ownership is noticeable since key items were removed. Best part of the meal was dessert. Good service but small space so can hear a lot but not horrible. Expensive I felt and for 3 people and only 2 adult drinks $300 is a lot. They do force a 20% gratuity which we did not like. Unsure if will come back but overall a decent restaurant.

    We loved the oyster salad special.  the place was hopping. Would’ve benefited from an extra wait staff.
