A neighborhood gem! This family-run Italian restaurant offers a chic, rustic atmosphere in a downtown Austin landmark historic 1876 building. Enjoy outdoor sidewalk cafe dining just steps from the Texas State Capitol (dog friendly).
We feature a wide variety of authentic Italian pastas, pizza, meats, seafood & unique daily specials. (GF and Veg options). Daily specials highlight the freshest and most seasonal offerings, such as Rigatoni Alla Norcina (sausage with truffle oil), house-made Gnocchi Sorrentina, and Whole Roasted Fish. Gelato, sorbets and desserts are delicious and made in-house.
The cozy full-bar offers classic Italian cocktails and a sizable wine list representing Italy’s diverse regions.
All breads and pizza are made daily using naturally leavened dough and an ancient fermentation process; this improves digestibility and creates a delicious flavor. Neapolitan pizzas are baked at 1000 degrees in a wood-fired brick oven. Your new Austin favorite.

We frequent this restaurant but will likely not return. Food is usually good, but service sucks. For example, my daughter spilled a glass of water. We used our napkins to wipe it up. Servers walked by several times but never stopped to help us wipe up or provide us new napkins despite and obvious pool of water in the middle. This includes the owner who walked by our table glanced at it and kept going. On top of that, the homeless people sleeping out on Congress Avenue yelling profanities as we walk to the restaurant from our car makes the overall experience not great. It’s too bad, their food is pretty good.

Best Italian in Austin! Such a lovey, street side affair. Enjoy the excellent rosemary focaccia, and delicious pasta dishes of all sorts. Very comfortable and unpretentious.

The service staff was excellent, very attentive. The food was delish, my husband had the spicy pork chop, very thick and he ate it all. I had the appetizer meatballs, 3 very big meatballs, multiple bites for each one. The only issue is the restaurant is very very loud, one of those where you have to shout to have a conversation with the person across the table. It was an early Saturday evening and both theatres down the street were having a concert so the place was full. I do recommend this place, just maybe on a week night where it might be quieter.

The food is amazing and service very good. They did mess my order up and I ate 15-20 minutes after all of my guest started their meals. I was a little shocked they charged me for that meal. Something should have been complimented. I will certainly eat here again. It’s a fantastic place.

I love the three p’s…my athletic son loved the food but wished the rigatoni portions were a bit bigger. My husband enjoyed his pork chop.
