   Food was so-so. Some good (lamb), some bad (omelette). Ambience was ok too. Service was my biggest gripe. Extremely slow even though the restaurant wasn’t full. We were sat down at the table after arriving and the waiter forgot to deliver us a menu which he promised. After 15 minutes of waiting, I had to get out of the seat to find him and ask for our menu. We ordered and waited an additional 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Another table next to us had already eaten. They ordered their round 2 well after we did. Frustratingly, their second arrived before our order. I went to the front to complain and was told that they had a system for ordering whereby people that order seconds get priority! Couldn’t actually believe what I was hearing! We had a young child with us who was starving too! I was fuming. Eventually our food arrived. By this point, I had already approached their staff twice to ask where our meal was. When our bill arrived, it cheekily included service which I made sure they removed. Safe to say, I won’t be returning.

   Lovely decor very inviting with great music. Food did take some time to come considering what was ordered. Would say it was a bit pricey for what it was. A few more options for Vegans or those with allergies would have been nice. But left feeling content.

   New restaurant for us, in the gem location that is Peckham's Bellenden Road, and one we'll definitely be going back to. Welcoming friendly service, great chef and food - the starter chicken wings in particular were the best I've had. This place is on the rise, and worth a trip!

   Had a fantastic meal last night. Booked late. Really warm greeting from the friendly staff and were seated overlooking the kitchen which was great and gave us a chance to see the beautifully prepared dishes. Our waiter helped with some recommendations from the small but tantalising menu. We enjoyed the really flavoursome chicken wings and pulled lamb croquettes for starters and two had the jumbo prawns (delicious) and the other two the oxtail (succulent). All presented very well. A Highly recommend this place and there are some great pubs within two minutes walk too. All very laid back and not rushed. Would definitely return.

   My foodie wife and I tried 139 Fika for the first time last Saturday night. Starters: Beetroot starter was the star of the show. Mains - having asked for the steak 'rare' it was more medium and the Oxtail dish was Ok and tasty but the cassava dumplings quite hard. Wine was pretty good and the service friendly and efficient. Overall I'd say the food was pretty good and well presented, if not spectacular. 2 things which slightly let the evening down for us a) it was probably about 30% overpriced for similar quality restaurants in Peckham, so we were left feeling we didn't really get value for our money and b) it was a cold evening and no barrier between the door regularly opening and people coming in, so lots of cold draughts!

   Beautifully presented food and a really interesting menu. Delicious flavours. I'm quite new to Caribbean cuisine but love it and couldn't recommend more! The service was great too.

   I enjoyed my visit to Fika and the food was interesting and very tasty, however the prices are way too high for a local restaurant. £25 for a main is what you would expect to pay in a good quality central London restaurant. My partners main was a tiny vegetarian tartlet and that was £21, and you needed to order sides on top as the portions aren’t that big. All in all, I think to pay over £100 for two people (not including service) when you’ve only had a starter and main and a side of rice, two beers, one glass of wine and a cocktail is way too much. I understand it’s tough for restaurants to survive, but this is not good value for the customer.

   We were made to feel very welcomed as soon as we entered. Our waiting staff (Rae) was attentive, friendly and efficient. Chef Richard is a truly talented person who knows his craft and knows how to be very creative with it. Also, he is a humble person and very, very funny! Mr owner, keep up the good work your efforts will be rewarded. I could only give 5 starts as there weren’t 10 stars!!!!!
