   Great place for a casual meal or for celebrating a special occasion. We enjoy eating outside if the weather permits. Inside can get a bit too noisy.

   Service can be slow when crowded. Some dishes have proved better than others over time. I used to love their shepherds pie. The burger and chicken sandwich are reliably good. The fries are always soft skins and lackluster. The fish and chips are all fried batter, and the cobb salad just a plain old salad and mediocre dressing. It is still an enjoyable setting with good drinks. The upper terrace closest to the building is typically warm from the heaters. There are no heaters used on the lower outer terrace which can get cold in the winter. It remains reasonably priced for Palm Springs standards and is usually easier to get into than most places.

    Always a welcoming experience with a casual, sports vibe that is not overwhelming. My Vegan Crabcakes were delish.
