The food was spectacular and we will be back. Crispy Octopus, open faced lamb pita, bangers and mash and a whole head of roasted cauliflower with truffle and bacon! Sorry we don’t go downtown more often but this is definitely a great reason to go back! 0ur server was wonderful and the drinks were great as well! Easy parking. Can’t say enough great things! Thanks for a great night out!

This is one of the best restaurants in Sarasota. Terrific menu with varied options -- small plates and large. Consistently excellent food quality. Outstanding value for the prices. Absolutely one of our "go to" spots.

On-street parking was ample nearby. Menu had MANY options. Food was great. Service (Carlos) was courteous and very prompt. Carlos was knowledgable about the menu. Prices were very reasonable. Noise level was acceptable even for this 81 year old with bad hearing. Nothing not to like and a VERY pleasant evening! Will keep coming back.

Love this place. As usual everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter was especially great, knowledgeable about the wine and super friendly, timing excellent. Can’t say enough nice things about him.

Our nth visit to 1592 and it’s still a favorite. The Mediterranean/Greek inspired menu offers multiple dining choices, the portions are generous, fresh and quick to the table. The service is excellent, friendly and professional, and well practiced. I consider 1592 to be a reasonable value, and we’ll continue to visit them in our dining rotation.

Greek food geek extravaganza. In house homemade everything. This place is jammed packed every night and for good reason. Great food, great wait staff, and very reasonable prices.
