   Great food, and our server Jim was very good and attentive to our needs. However, the highlight of our evening was meeting Faye, the hostess. She was excellent in getting us settled in and delightful in making us feel welcome and appreciated as return diners at the 1606. We wish her every success in her career in the Hospitality Industry.    My fiancé & I had lunch here on Saturday & it was a delightful experience. I ordered the beet salad & the Autumn Harvest pizza, & he order the Caesar salad & the Gloucester Rachel sandwich. Everything was fresh & perfectly cooked. Our waitress was friendly & attentive & restaurant has a stunning ocean view which adds to the ambiance. We really enjoyed our lunch date & plan on going back.

   I’ve tried this restaurant twice. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is okay but the food is subpar. Never again.

   We had a wonderful evening! Ambiance was so festive and decorated beautifully for Christmas. We sat at the bar and David was out bartender/ server. He was attentive, knowledgeable, so friendly and engaging. The food was great. We shared a crab cake, my husband had Branzino and I the scallops. So well prepared. I would definitely recommend!

    Beauport is the perfect place for a holiday celebration! It’s so beautifully decorated and festive, there is such a positive vibe and everyone is in such a happy mood! Jingle Bar was in full motion, love the relocation to the back of the lobby, so intimate and magical! We had dinner in 1606, needed a little more quiet time together and it was perfect! Our server was excellent, dinners were delicious (hard to choose next up with the new menu, cocktails, and food - so many great options! We all agree that a part of lobster bisque is the best around, including Boston! The burgers and pizzas are always a great choice, and scallops were delicious too! The restaurant, bar, lobby, and Jingle Bar wereall crowded, it was wonderful to see so many people out celebrating the holidays! The staffing was proportionate, never oh wait and the visibility of management ensuring everyone was being taken care of and enjoying themselves and the food or something. You don’t see everywhere! Also, it was nice to receive a personal check in from Chef Jon, wanting to be sure everything was as we liked it…and we loved everything! Looking forward to our friend event on Friday night, 14 of us will celebrate and enjoy a delicious and special meal together in the private dining room!
