   I recently had the pleasure of dining at 1653 Pizza company on March 8, 2025. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a delightful meal. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I ordered their signature pizza and a hearty plate of pasta. The pizza was perfectly baked with a crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and an array of fresh toppings that burst with flavor. The pasta was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a savory sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. Overall, my experience at 1653 Pizza company was great. The combination of delicious food and exceptional service makes it a place I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying meal. I look forward to visiting again soon!

   I recently visited 1653 Pizza and had a generally positive experience, though with a few hiccups. The food was pretty good overall, starting with the artichoke appetizer. The concept behind the dish was great, but unfortunately, the artichoke was a bit undercooked, which slightly affected the texture. Two of us ordered the pizzas, which were both delicious and well-executed—just what you'd expect from a solid, classic option. However, the real standout was the leek and mushroom cannoli, which one of our party members ordered. The homemade pasta was a nice touch, and the dish itself was inventive and flavorful, though a bit on the rich side. It was a unique choice that certainly stood out. The biggest downside, unfortunately, was the timing of both drinks and food. We were seated near the bar area, and drinks were delivered in a staggered, disjointed manner. One person ordered wine, and another an espresso martini, but there was an awkward delay as the wine sat at the pick-up station for about 8-10 minutes before the martini was placed there. The same delay happened with the food—while the pizzas were delivered promptly, the person who ordered a main course had to wait for what felt like an eternity before theirs arrived. This caused some awkwardness at the table, with two people eating while the other waited, and then waiting for the main course diner to finish before the rest of us could continue. Despite the quality of the food, the lag in service left a less-than-ideal impression. It’s clear that the kitchen and front-of-house staff could improve coordination and timing. All in all, 1653 has a lot of potential, but until these issues are addressed, I'd recommend being prepared for a slightly disjointed dining experience.

   Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere! We took all of Sam’s dish recommendations and they were amazing! It’s one of our favorite places for sure!

   Delicious, comfy, wonderful serving staff ( yeah Sam!) , superb drinks…not rushed (but we did reserve just to be sure to get a table for our crowd). A wonderful highlight for this cute town💜

   This place is amazing to go eat with friends and families! The atmosphere is fun and the music is up beat that even little kids and young adults can enjoy going out to dinner. The food and drinks are great and you can’t go wrong with anything you pick off the menu! Each plate is delicious and the drinks will leave your mouth watering for more!    Service was prompt and courteous. Drinks were outstanding. A true mixologist. Food was delicious. Gluten free pizza was outstanding. We will be coming back!
